What drives Giampaolo Sangorgi and Fabio Brocca from Birrificio Lambrate, a brewery in the Milan district of Lambrate, to travel to the Wunderburg? It could only be for a reunion with their friend Stephan Michel and their collaboration on a very special project. The mission: a Summer time collaboration-brew with only about 4% alcohol. The result: The unfiltered “Session IPL”, brewed with fruity aromatic of peach, lime, grapefruit, plums and berries, as well as Simco and Mosaic hops from the USA and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh from Germany (and lager yeast).
